Antique refrigerators could weigh over 100 kg. So, for example, the Bosch unit of 1933 weighed about 80 kg, and the domestic first Zil or Donbas models could weigh about 120 kg.
The mass of refrigerators may vary depending on the materials from which the case, compressor, and internal filling are made. For example, manufacturers in their model for the manufacture of shelves can use both glass and plastic. Also, the mass of the refrigeration apparatus can increase by filling the chambers with a large number of shelves, container boxes, and stands.

It turns out that different manufacturers of refrigerators similar in parameters and technical characteristics can weigh completely differently. For example, compact models with a height of 85 cm Indesit TT 85 T and Biryusa 8 EKAA-2 weigh 48 and 34 kg, respectively. The low model Saratov 264 “height” 121cm weighs 46 kilograms.
The weight of two-chamber refrigerator with a height of 157 cm Atlant XM 4009-022 weighs as much as 57 kg, and a 162 cm Liebherr CUPsl 2721 apparatus weighs 49 kg. The Russian model Biryusa 6 EKA-2 is 145 cm high and weighs 48 kg.
The two-meter Bosch refrigerator model KGE39AW25 weighs 66 kilograms, and the Liebherr CUN 3923 unit of the same height surpasses its competitor in weight by as much as 24 kilograms and weighs 90 kilograms.
