Roasting for too long can also dry out the chicken. If there is something stuffed in the stomach of a chicken or turkey. Then it is safer to have a temperature of 185 degrees.

Color of the Juice

Look at the color of the juice flowing out of the turkey. Insert a knife or a fork into the turkey to let the juice flow out of the turkey. The juice flowing out of the raw chicken is red, and the half-raw turkey is pink. So, the cooked turkey is transparent and colorless.

How much time does a turkey take in the oven?

A 10 lb turkey takes 3 hours to cook at 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake the turkey breast side down for 45 minutes. Take out the roasting pan and brush the top of the turkey with the juices from the roasting pan. Hold the turkey with a kitchen towel and turn the turkey 90 degrees so that the turkey sleeps on its side.

Add half a cup of water to the baking dish. Return the turkey to the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Take out the turkey, brush the surface of the turkey with baking liquid, turn it over 180 degrees, and sleep on the other side of the body.

Take the turkey out one last time, brush the turkey, then let the turkey sleep on its back breast side up, and continue roasting for another 30-45 minutes. Use a roasting thermometer to test for the doneness of the turkey. Note that if you use an Instant-Read Thermometer, the chicken breast should reach 165F/74 degrees, and the chicken legs should reach 170F/77 degrees.

If you use a thermometer inserted into the turkey body to bake the turkey, take out the turkey according to the thermometer indication (usually above 190F/88 degrees8) and let it cool for more than 20 minutes.

Precautions
