  4. Once the lentils are ready, all you have to do is check that the consistency is right. If the legumes are still hard, let them sit for another 5 to 10 minutes with the lid on.
  5. Pour off the remaining water. Note that lentils take different amounts of time to cook depending on the type of lentil.

In the rice cooker, you can not only cook lentils but also prepare one-pot dishes. We show you a simple lentil dish in the rice cooker, without washing up.
